Alexandra Pascassio and Davide Manfredi own and operate the Galerie Pascassio Manfredi, located in the heart of Paris’s historic St. Germain-des-Pres neighborhood since 2008. The Gallery specializes in the buying and selling of ancient art from Southeast Asia. Main areas of expertise are the tribal arts of Indonesia and Philippines, where Mr. Manfredi has traveled frequently since the 1970s. Mrs. Pascassio is a graduate of the Ecole du Louvre with gallery long professional experience.
Among their clients are leading private collectors of tribal art in Europe, North America and Asia. They have placed objects in the collections of such institutions as the Musee du Quai Branly, Paris, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, the Museo Pigorini, Rome, the Yale University Art Gallery, New Haven, the National Gallery of Australia, Canberra and the Asian Civilisations Museum, Singapore.
